The sublime of landscape transmuted into a spiritual experience.
His universe embraces diverse forces of nature inherent to the landscape through the convergence of sculpture, painting, and installations. From the monumental presence of mountains melting into the ocean, the convergence of ether and earth through lightning, rock formations undergoing gradual processes of fragmentation and disintegration, down to the elemental unit – the stone itself. A fusion of landscape abstraction and spiritual exploration, encapsulating the dichotomy between “Matter” in the physical realm and “Light” in the quest for the ethereal and sacred.
In the sculptures I spatially explore concepts such as expansion, frequencies, gravity, the movements of the mantles and waves, the lightnings, all this is part of my understanding of the mineral kingdom and the connection with the cosmos.
